I used my old Tokai Jazz bass now fitted with your active electronics for the first time in anger yesterday. Very pleased with the results. It’s like having a new bass, with lots and lots of new sounds in it. Most impressed. FYI the unit didn’t exactly fit first time. I had to sharpen up a chisel and cut a little wood away from the bottom edge of the cavity to allow room for the two toggle switches. Even then I could only get two of the plate mounting holes to line up with the original screw holes, but the original plate was much the same so I guess Tokai are to blame for that. I’m well chuffed now.
